Returning to the Biblical Foundations of Our Faith

At Olive Branch Fellowship, our heart is simple: we want to know God through the fullness of His Word and walk faithfully in the ways He has revealed from Genesis to Revelation.
In a world where faith can easily become hurried, shallow, or disconnected from its biblical roots, we believe the Lord is calling His people back to the ancient paths — not as a burden, but as a blessing. Scripture says:
“Thus, saith the LORD, stand ye in the ways, and see, and ask for the old paths, where is the good way, and walk therein…”— Jeremiah 6:16
For us, returning to the biblical foundations of the faith means looking carefully at the whole counsel of Scripture. We believe the Torah, the Prophets, the Writings, and the New Testament all reveal one beautiful, unified message of redemption through Yeshua the Messiah. Olive Branch Fellowship describes itself as a Christian congregation seeking to understand Scripture through its Hebraic foundation.
Why the Whole Bible Matters
Many believers love the New Testament but feel unsure how the Torah and the Prophets connect to their faith. Yet Yeshua Himself said:
“Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil.”— Matthew 5:17
When we study Scripture from beginning to end, we begin to see the consistency of God’s character. His holiness, mercy, justice, covenant faithfulness, and redemptive plan are woven through every book of the Bible.
The Sabbath, the appointed times, the commandments, the promises to Israel, and the good news of Messiah are not disconnected pieces. They are part of one unfolding story — the story of a faithful God calling His people to love Him, worship Him, and walk in His ways.
Obedience as a Response of Love
At Olive Branch Fellowship, we believe salvation is by grace through faith in Yeshua. We do not obey God’s commandments to earn salvation. We obey because we have been redeemed.
Yeshua said:
“If ye love me, keep my commandments.”— John 14:15
Obedience is not legalism when it flows from love. It is the fruit of a heart that has been changed by the mercy of God.
The Torah reveals God’s righteous ways. It teaches us how to love Him, how to love our neighbor, how to live set apart, and how to remember who we belong to. Olive Branch Fellowship’s beliefs emphasize that obedience to God’s commandments is a response of love and faithfulness, not a way to earn salvation.
Why We Gather on the Sabbath
The Sabbath was established by God at creation as a holy day of rest. It reminds us that He is Creator, Redeemer, Provider, and King.
Each week, Sabbath gives us a sacred pause — a time to step away from the noise of the world and gather with God’s people in worship, prayer, Scripture, and fellowship.
At Olive Branch Fellowship, we gather on Saturdays for Sabbath worship, study, and community. The church website lists Sabbath service as part of the congregation’s regular rhythm. The Sabbath is not just a day off. It is a weekly invitation to remember we are not our own. We belong to the Lord.
A Place to Grow, Study, and Belong
Whether someone has studied Scripture for years or is just beginning to ask questions, there is room at the table.
Our desire is to study the Word faithfully, worship with sincere hearts, and encourage one another in the walk of faith. Olive Branch Fellowship welcomes those who are seeking a deeper understanding of Scripture and a community rooted in God’s Word.
We believe faith is meant to be lived out together — in worship, discipleship, prayer, fellowship, and service.
