What to expect during our services

At Olive Branch Fellowship, you will find a welcoming community of people who desire to grow in their relationship with God and walk according to His Word. Whether you are new to the area, exploring the Bible for the first time, or looking for a congregation that values the whole of Scripture, you are welcome here. Our hope is that you will feel at home as we worship, learn, and grow together. If it is your first time visiting, feel free to arrive a few minutes early so you can meet some of the congregation and get settled before the service begins.

Our Sabbath Gathering

We meet each Saturday at 10:00 AM to worship, study the Scriptures, and spend time together as a community. Our service typically includes worship through music, prayer, and teaching from the Scriptures. Our goal is to honor God, encourage one another, and grow deeper in our understanding of His Word.

Worship and Prayer

Our time of worship is centered on honoring the Lord and turning our hearts toward Him together. We sing songs of praise and gratitude that reflect God’s faithfulness and goodness.

Prayer is also an important part of our gatherings. We pray for one another, for our families, and for the needs within our congregation and community. If you have a prayer request, we are always glad to pray with you.

Deep Study of God's Word

A central part of our gathering is the study of Scripture. Each week we study the Torah portion (Parashah) and explore the Bible in a deep theological way.

Our teaching connects the Torah, the Prophets, and the New Testament, helping us see the unity of God’s Word.

We study the Scriptures chapter by chapter and verse by verse, carefully examining the text in its original languages—Hebrew, Greek, and Aramaic—to better understand the meaning and context of what was written.

Our goal is to understand God's Word faithfully and learn how to walk in His ways today.

Fellowship and Oneg

After the service, many of us stay for a time of fellowship and a shared meal known as Oneg, which means “delight.”

This is a relaxed time where people can talk, build friendships, and enjoy community together.

Visitors are not expected to bring food. Our congregation regularly shares what we have, and there is always room at the table. Some members prefer to bring their own food due to dietary needs or personal preferences, and you are welcome to do that as well.

What Should I Wear?

There is no formal dress code at Olive Branch Fellowship. You will see a range of attire from casual to more traditional clothing. We simply ask that everyone dress in a way that is respectful and modest as we gather to worship the Lord together.

Families and Children

Children are welcome at Olive Branch Fellowship, and families are an important part of our community. We provide childcare and Sabbath School for children and teens so that families can grow together in their faith. For more information, please visit our Children’s Ministry or Youth Ministry pages.

If you would like to speak directly with our Children's Ministry Leader, you can email Susan Clark.
